The West End Fire Company is located in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. We operate out of two stations:
Main Station- Located on Route 715 in Brodheadsville- this station houses our Engine, Heavy Rescue, Tanker, Brush Truck and a Mini-Rescue.
Sub-Station- Located on Route 115 in Effort- this Station house our Quint, Mini- Pumper/Rescue and Fire Police Vehicle.
We serve 36.5 Square miles of the township. We have Day Time Automatic Aid Agreements with our neighboring Departments for all Fire and Alarm Calls. All members respond to all calls in the township as well as the mutual aid calls. In addition to all Fire/ Fire Alarm calls, we are also dispatched to all Motor Vehicle Accidents where there are injuries reported or if Fire Police are requested by State Police. We also respond as "43 Rescue" to assist EMS for certain medical calls. Due to the rapid growth of the area we are kept quite busy.
