Tuesday the 12th was a busy day.
Crews ran a working chimney fire on Pheasant Run Road. 43-6-1 was put into service to access the roof in the snowy conditions. Crews were held on scene to retrieve a piece of equipment in the chimney that was dropped by someone who will remain nameless.
Later that night, 43 RIT was sent to Split Rock Resort in Carbon County for a working fire in a room on the 3rd floor. Crews braved the snowy road conditions to get there
Later that night, Station 43 was dispatched as 2nd due to a working dwelling fire on Route 209 in Polk Township. 43-6-1 and 43-2-5 arrived on scene for heavy fire inside a converted single wide mobile home with a wood addition. Crews assisted with extiguishment and overhaul operations.
